Robinson Brothers Construction, Inc. (RBC) is a full service provider of outside plant construction services to the communications industry, and electrical infrastructure installation services to the renewable energy industry and electric utilities.
RBC has been providing high quality construction services to its customers for over 46 years. Our primary focus during our first four decades of operation has been communication network installations. We have been involved in the deployment of fiber optic networks across the country for most of the nation's largest communications companies, and have installed over 3,800 miles of fiber optic cable. We also have considerable experience with rural independent (Telecommunications & Broadband) deployments, including over 628 miles of RUS funded projects.
Since entering the renewable energy sector in 2007, we have installed the MV Collection and SCADA systems on wind generation projects totaling over 1,411 Megawatts (MW) of production. These projects were located throughout the Western United States. They included terminal connections to over 696 Wind Turbine Generators (WTG's), and over 240 miles of trenching. We excel at completing difficult projects in a range of conditions from hard rock to wetlands.
We also have a long history providing services to electric utilities. We are a qualified contractor for several large privately held utilities as well as many public utilities districts. We typically perform underground infrastructure installations (electrical & communications) and hard surface restoration services to these customers.

RBC has established strong relationships with many of the industries major material vendors and subcontractors. We can also meet your financial, insurance, and bonding requirements.
We are currently licensed, bonded, and insured to operate in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and California. We plan to continue expanding our service area and offerings as opportunities arise.
We hold long-term general construction and maintenance contracts with many of our customers. We also provide emergency response teams for weather related outages or dig ups to our customers.
We are a "Turn-key" contractor that self-performs the majority of its work. The services we offer include: engineering and materials procurement, cable installations, splicing, terminations, testing, and as-builts. RBC can meet your construction or maintenance needs.
