directional drilling

Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology has developed/evolved greatly over the past twenty years, and is quickly becoming the primary method of installation for underground utilities of all types. HDD dramatically reduces the impact of construction on the general public and the environment. RBC owns a large fleet of the most modern and productive drills available. We have successfully completed installation of Communications, Electrical, Natural Gas, Water, Sewer, and Storm water lines via directional drilling throughout the western US. We have equipment specifically designed for service connections, distribution, and mainline. Our drills vary in capacity up to 100,000 LBS of pullback and are capable of working in ground conditions varying from swamps to solid rock.
